[At the "Sex and the City" slot machine]
Four days in Sin City will fly by, let me tell you. I'm not sure why--maybe it's the constant hysteria, maybe the boozily blurry nights--and while it's nice to be home, I do already miss Las Vegas. Sure, attending a Chippendales show with your mom can be awkward (beer helps), the desert air has dried my skin to sandpaper, and the persistent handing out of hooker calling cards on the streets can get tiring. But overall, I had a ton of fun, won a sweet $40 playing slots, and found the city to be one-of-a-kind and enchanting, a place truly unlike any other. Plus, all the excess (in drinks, lights, shopping, you name it) made for some irreplaceable photos. And luckily, what happens in Vegas doesn't necessarily have to stay in Vegas. Here's proof:
[Rustic circus-themed tent for the "Absinthe" show]
[Fred Leighton emeralds & window-shopping at Bellagio]
[Decadent (and exquisitely garnished) ice cream at Caesar's Palace]
[Ethereal, brilliant fish tanks at an Asian restaurant]
[Flower decor dripping from Bellagio ceilings]
[Our moms excitedly awaiting the start of the Chippendales (!) show...]
[...and oversized "shots" for Amanda and me after the show]
[Free (and endless) house wine at Battista's Hole in the Wall]
