I have a love/hate relationship with jeans. While I love them for the obvious reasons--they're versatile, easy, and classic--I'm the kind of girl who isn't afraid to indulge in food, especially on the weekends. Beer and fries (and maybe a pizza as well) on Friday is often followed by all-day snacking on Saturday. So by the time Sunday comes around, I need a couple days of de-bloating in my sweatpants before I can climb back into my favorite jeans without feeling gross.
But the latest spring denim has me considering ditching my weekend indulgences--whether it's a pair of dainty floral babies or bolder jeans in a tropical scarf print, I'd never want to take them off. And while many of the pairs I've been eyeing are much pricier than what I'd normally spend on jeans, I firmly believe the purchase would be worth it, as I'd be (you would be too!) wearing them allllll summer long and well into fall. Cuffed with heels one day, combined with lace-up boots and a band tee the next, if you buy one thing all summer, make it a pair of statement jeans.
The only problem is, I don't think I can give up my weekend binges. A solution? Wearing them 3-4 days out of the week with whatever's comfy and rocking them on Friday...before all the greasy goodness takes its toll on my midsection.
